Gritticon Technologies is an Indian software company. We build for the merchant’s counter and the school office — places where people already know how to work, and where software has usually demanded they change.
One conviction, two products
Most software ships a workflow and expects people to reorganise around it. The staff’s job becomes learning the software; the real work happens somewhere else, and the screen becomes a data-entry chore. We think that failure is the vendor’s, every time.
So we build the other way round. We start from how a school clerk, a class teacher, or a restaurant owner already works — and remove friction from that. The system prepares; the person decides; every consequential action is recorded with who and when. Structure — role names, departments, categories, menus — belongs to the customer, never to us.
Shop OS carries this to merchants. Gritticon SMS carries it into schools. Different worlds, same doctrine.

Salary components, earnings, and deductions as Indian schools actually structure them.

Cash on delivery from day one; veg/non-veg markers; storefronts shared where India shares links — WhatsApp and Instagram.
English and Hindi
Support in both. Regional language UI is on the roadmap.
How we operate
- Claims match the product. Our marketing pages describe what users actually experience — nothing invented, nothing aspirational dressed as shipped.
- Privacy by design. Data is scoped, audited, and isolated per customer; our legal pages are versioned and their prior versions stay published.
- Semi-automation as a feature. Software that erases people’s roles doesn’t get adopted — and shouldn’t. Ours prepares work for a human decision.
